These abstract straw marquetry works on wood panel are each made with hand-dyed rye straw arranged in a radial burst composition radiating outward from an off-center point. The natural glossy surface shimmers dynamically as light shifts throughout the day, giving them a refined textural presence.
I created these pieces to offer flexibility and creativity for installations of any scale — a single lineup of three, a large grid of twelve (or more!), or anything in between. The modular format allows for fully customized arrangements, tailored to your space and aesthetic. While shown here in black, gold, brown, and pink, color can be customized to suit any setting
