These abstract straw marquetry works are each made with dyed rye straw arranged in an offset radial burst composition. The natural glossy surface shimmers dynamically with shifting light, giving them a refined textural presence that at times makes them look almost metallic.

I created these pieces to offer flexibility and creativity for installations of any scale — a single lineup of three, a large grid of twelve (or more!), or anything in between. The modular format allows for fully customized arrangements, tailored to your space and aesthetic. While shown here in black, gold, brown, and pink, color can be customized to suit any setting
