The Silent Guide

$0.00

2023

Size: 30” x24”
Palette: Sage, Aqua, Peach, Black
Media: methyl-cellulose paste, acrylic, paper, resin, wood panel

The Story: This piece features a palette of ethereal blues and greens, creating a tranquil and dreamlike atmosphere. Against this backdrop, dark fluid lines create a dynamic visual presence.

This work began as paper painted using a loose and gestural technique. The painted paper was cut into smaller pieces and collaged onto a wood panel in a rhythmic composition. Acrylic paint forms the “drippy” line-work. Resin finishes the piece, augmenting the work by creating a heightened sense of dimensionality and vibrance.

$2175

**Difficult to capture in a photo: The face of the piece is smooth and glossy.
